BMW Malaysia is marking a significant milestone—the 50th anniversary of the iconic BMW 3 Series—by unveiling the locally assembled BMW M340i xDrive M Sport Pro. This high-performance sedan now sits at the top of the 3 Series lineup in Malaysia, blending signature M Performance power with modern luxury and innovation.
The M340i xDrive M Sport Pro was revealed as part of BMW Malaysia’s ongoing celebrations throughout 2025, which include appearances at major events like the Malaysia Autoshow and MY BMW World.
Under the hood, the M340i xDrive M Sport Pro boasts a powerful 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder BMW TwinPower Turbo engine. This performance-oriented heart generates 387 hp and 500 Nm of torque, capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds.
The engine is paired with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system, offering enhanced traction and handling in all driving conditions.
Further enhancing its sporty credentials are the Adaptive M Suspension, M Sport Differential, and Variable Sport Steering—all standard features. These technologies ensure a thrilling yet controlled drive whether you’re navigating tight corners or cruising on the highway.
From the outside, the M340i xDrive M Sport Pro announces its performance pedigree with unmistakable M styling cues. The front sports the iconic kidney grille flanked by Adaptive LED headlights and M Lights Shadowline treatment. Aggressive lines and muscular contours define the sides, while the rear gets dual exhaust tips and an M rear spoiler for a sportier stance.
The car sits on 19-inch M light alloy wheels in a double-spoke design, complemented by high-gloss red M Sport brakes. Customers can choose from four striking exterior colours: Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Arctic Race Blue, and M Brooklyn Grey.
Step inside and the performance theme continues, balanced with luxury and tech. The cabin features premium Sensatec upholstery, aluminium Rhombicle trims, and M-branded elements like seat belts and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with a centre marker.
Both front sports seats are electrically adjustable with memory function, and a Harman Kardon Surround Sound System with 16 speakers ensures a rich audio experience.
At the centre of the cockpit is BMW’s Curved Display, combining a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster with a 14.9-inch central touchscreen. It runs on BMW’s latest Operating System 8.5, offering an intuitive and connected user experience.
Additional comfort features include ambient lighting, an electric glass roof, a through-loading system for added storage flexibility, and a new tyre pressure monitor.
The M340i xDrive M Sport Pro comes well-equipped with advanced safety and assistance systems. These include:
- Driving Assistant: Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning with brake assist
- Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go: Adapts speed based on traffic flow
- Parking Assistant Plus: Offers surround view, a reverse camera, and automatic parking assistance
BMW’s ConnectedDrive suite is also standard, bringing features such as over-the-air updates, remote services via the My BMW App, emergency call functions, and smartphone integration, including Personal eSIM capability.

- Easy Drive Financing Plan: From RM4,395/month (5-year term, 80% loan), plus a RM5,000 insurance rebate and replacement car programme
- Straight-Line Financing Plan: From RM4,587/month (7-year term, 80% loan), with interest rates starting as low as 0.5%
Customers who opt for BMW Protection+ also receive extensive insurance coverage, including total loss protection, GAP coverage, accident disability benefits, flood and rim damage protection, and more.
The recommended retail price (on-the-road, without insurance) for the New BMW M340i xDrive M Sport Pro is RM388,800. Customers can also add the BMW Service & Repair Inclusive package for an additional RM26,400.
