UMW Toyota Ends October on a High Note with 9,141 Vehicles Sold

Toyota

UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) ended October 2025 on a steady note with 9,141 units delivered nationwide, pushing its year-to-date total to 79,559 units. The consistent performance underscores strong consumer trust in Toyota’s reputation for quality, durability and reliability, as well as resilience in Malaysia’s competitive automotive market.

Aligned with its “Mobility for All” philosophy, Toyota continues to cater to a wide spectrum of Malaysian buyers through a comprehensive portfolio that spans passenger cars, SUVs and electrified options. The brand’s focus on dependable after-sales care and long-term ownership value further strengthens its appeal among customers across the country.

“Toyota’s strength lies in meeting people where they are — with technologies that make sense, performance they can rely on, and peace of mind built into every experience,” said UMW Toyota Motor President Datuk Ravindran K. “Our aspiration to be the ‘Best in Town’ is grounded in earning real trust, not just through products, but through innovation, service and meaningful contributions to the communities we serve.”

Toyota Outlines Regional Mobility Roadmap at Japan Mobility Show 2025

Toyota’s commitment to next-generation mobility took centre stage at the Japan Mobility Show (JMS) 2025, where the company presented its new three-year regional strategy for Asia. The plan focuses on accelerating carbon neutrality, enhancing intelligent safety, and expanding inclusive mobility solutions across the region.

During Toyota Motor Asia Media Day, the company announced several major initiatives, including the rollout of more than 10 new electrified (xEV) models within three years and the start of local BEV production in Thailand and Indonesia by the end of 2025.

Toyota also reaffirmed its “30 by 30 Mission,” which targets 30% xEV sales in ASEAN by 2030 — a milestone equivalent to 1.5 million cumulative units, or an environmental benefit comparable to planting 25 million trees and reducing 8 million tonnes of CO₂.

One of the event’s highlights was the global debut of the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ Concept, a rugged electrified off-roader inspired by the brand’s legacy of durability. Confirmed for regional production in Thailand, the model represents Toyota’s blend of heritage and forward-looking innovation.

Toyota also showcased its broader Toyota Mobility Concept and its collaboration under Commercial Japan Partnership Technologies (CJPT), demonstrating how integrated energy, data and vehicle ecosystems can support low-carbon, high-efficiency mobility across Asia.

Special Promotions for Malaysian Buyers

To close out the year, UMWT is offering rebates of up to RM8,000 on selected Toyota models, complemented by additional deals available through authorised dealers.

As Toyota continues to expand its electrification efforts, enhance after-sales services and invest in sustainable mobility, UMWT says its long-term mission remains unchanged — enabling Malaysians to move better, grow stronger and thrive in a future shaped by smarter, more inclusive mobility solutions.
