Tesla Malaysia announced the updated Tesla Model 3 lineup recently, featuring new hardware enhancements, refreshed design elements, a brand-new variant, and revised pricing aimed at accelerating the adoption of electric mobility across the country.
The updated pricing is as follows:
- Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive: RM169,000
- Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive: RM185,000
- Model 3 Long Range All-Wheel Drive: RM199,000
- Model 3 Performance: RM229,000
The updated Model 3 now comes equipped with a new front-facing camera, boosting visibility for added safety and smoother parking. This addition brings the total to eight cameras that support Tesla’s advanced vision-based Autopilot system, enabling a more intuitive driving experience.

In response to customer feedback, Tesla has also reintroduced a traditional turn signal stalk, blending modern innovation with familiar ergonomics for everyday usability. Meanwhile, new matte-black Tesla badges at the front and rear lend the car a sharper, more futuristic edge.
Tesla Malaysia has also introduced an all-new Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive, the most efficient version yet. With a WLTP range of up to 750 km on a single charge — around 9% farther than the Long Range All-Wheel Drive variant — this model delivers the longest driving range of any Tesla currently on sale in Malaysia.
Priced from RM185,000, the new variant offers remarkable long-distance capability with fast-charging convenience. Using Tesla’s Supercharging network, the Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive can recover up to 311 km of range in just 15 minutes at a peak rate of 250 kW.
For ultimate convenience, Tesla’s Home Charging Program enables owners to plug in and recharge their vehicles right at home or at the workplace. Starting from RM1,900, the home charging solution comes with a one-year warranty and provides reliable overnight charging for daily use.

To date, more than 8,000 Tesla owners in Malaysia have installed home chargers, enjoying the ease of starting each journey with a full battery.
As of today, there are 15 Supercharging stations (68 Superchargers) and 16 Destination Charging locations (73 chargers) supporting over 10,000 Tesla owners nationwide.
By the end of 2025, several new Supercharger sites will be operational, including Pavilion Damansara Heights, Nexus Bangsar South, and The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey — further strengthening Tesla’s charging footprint in key urban and travel hubs.
