Popular actor and radio personality Johan has ventured into a new business frontier with the launch of his very own GGR electric motorcycle (EV) showroom, signalling his growing presence in the world of entrepreneurship.
Known by his full name Mohd Yazid Lim Mohamad Aziz, the 41-year-old star has already proven his business acumen through his restaurant Itik Ke Ayam? under his company, Hanania Group Sdn. Bhd..
Now, the company is expanding its portfolio into the sustainable mobility sector through a partnership with GGR Motor, officially opening a GGR Electric Motorcycle Showroom at Melawati Square, Kuala Lumpur.

The launch also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between GGR Legacy (M) Sdn. Bhd. (GGR Motor) and Hanania Group Sdn. Bhd., forming the new brand GGR x Johan — a strategic collaboration aimed at promoting the sales and adoption of electric motorcycles in Malaysia.
Adding prestige to the occasion, the showroom’s grand opening was officiated by Khairy Jamaluddin, former Minister of Health and Johan’s co-host on Hot FM, marking a personal milestone for the entertainer-turned-entrepreneur.
The event was also attended by YAM Tengku Syarif Temenggong Perlis Dato’ Seri Diraja Syed Amir Abidin Jamalullail, Strategic Partner Professor Dr. Nizar Abd Jalil, and GGR Motor Managing Director Muhammad Mussaddiq Mohamed Azmi.
The ceremony further highlighted a strategic partnership between GGR Academy and Ram Corporation Ltd. (Thailand) to facilitate motorcycle exports to Thailand, as well as a collaboration with GGR Zhejiang Huaqu International (VARCHEA) from China.

Situated in a prime location, the new showroom represents another significant milestone for Malaysia’s green automotive industry. With this launch, Johan becomes the second Malaysian celebrity to partner with GGR Motor, following Farid Kamil’s involvement in September.
As the owner of GGR x Johan, Johan shared his enthusiasm for entering the EV motorcycle segment.
“This showroom reflects our commitment to growth and to providing the best service to customers nationwide,” he said.
The MoU signing is also expected to create opportunities for collaboration in electric motorcycle distribution while opening job opportunities for young Malaysians.
Beyond a business milestone, the launch underscores Malaysia’s ongoing shift towards a green economy and sustainable mobility, aligning with the nation’s sustainable development goals.
Johan’s move into the EV business sends a powerful message — that green mobility is no longer an option, but a necessity. He expressed gratitude for the strong response from the public and partners.
Meanwhile, GGR Motor Managing Director Muhammad Mussaddiq, also known as Dekmat, praised Johan’s loyalty and belief in him over the years.
“Johan has always supported me, even during my lowest moments. He never stopped believing that I could make it. Today, I’m proud that we’re finally working together,” said Dekmat.
GGR’s electric motorcycles are designed to be practical, durable, and user-friendly. Each model comes with three riding modes:
- Mode 1 offers speeds up to 35 km/h,
- Mode 2 ranges from 45–55 km/h, and
- Mode 3 delivers top speeds of up to 70 km/h.
This flexibility makes it suitable for both urban commuting and longer rides. The battery takes about six hours to fully charge, and unlike conventional motorcycles, there’s no need for engine servicing — only basic maintenance for tyres and the battery casing.

The main components are the battery and controller, making overall maintenance significantly cheaper. Spare parts are available directly from GGR x NeoFK to ensure customers enjoy reliable after-sales support.
Personalisation options include replacement batteries, upgraded controllers, lighting kits, sport rims, and other accessories to suit individual preferences. Each motorcycle comes with a warranty of up to 50,000 km, with plans underway to introduce larger models with advanced features soon.
Customers can choose from six colours — red, white, yellow, orange, light blue, and pink — with blue and green variants coming soon.
Each GGR x Johan electric motorcycle is priced at RM3,999, but thanks to a government rebate of RM2,400, the effective retail price drops to RM1,569.
The rebate is available until December 2025 for applicants earning less than RM100,000 annually, with approvals typically processed within two weeks. Purchases must be completed within a month of approval.
All motorcycles are registered with JPJ and covered by insurance, and as of now, two-wheeled EVs are exempt from road tax, making ownership even more affordable. The estimated total cost for registration and insurance is around RM2,054.
The opening of GGR x Johan not only celebrates a new business venture but also contributes to Malaysia’s pursuit of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — promoting cleaner, greener, and more sustainable mobility for all.
