Ipone Upgraded Motorcycle Engine Oils Now Available in Malaysia

Specialty Lubricants Trading Sdn Bhd, the official principal of Ipone in Malaysia, has unveiled the brand’s complete range of motorcycle engine oils in upgraded formulations at a Japanese-inspired experiential launch event.

The launch also highlighted Ipone Malaysia’s achievement of SIRIM certification, confirming the brand’s compliance with local quality and safety standards.

The French lubricant brand, part of the Motul Group, is known for high-performance motorcycle oils. The newly upgraded formulations now feature 100% PAO and ester base oils—premium Group 4 and 5 base oils—offering improved engine protection, efficiency, and performance. The range caters to daily riders, enthusiasts, and racers alike.

Product Line-Up
Ipone’s product tiers are inspired by Japanese judo belts, with packaging reflecting a dynamic, manga-influenced design:

  • Shogun (Black Belt): Maximum protection for track days and high-performance riding.
  • Samourai & Katana (Blue Belt): Fully synthetic oils for spirited daily rides with high durability.
  • R4000 (Green Belt) & 10.4 (Orange Belt): Semi-synthetic oils balancing protection, performance, and value for daily commuting and touring.
  • M4 (Yellow Belt): Mineral oil offering reliable performance for compatible bikes at accessible pricing.

Ipone’s philosophy encourages riders to embrace individuality and responsibility, turning every ride into a statement of freedom and performance.
