WTC Automotif (M) Sdn Bhd (WTCA), the official distributor of GAC in Malaysia, has launched the all-new GAC EMKOO, its second locally-assembled model after the GS3 EMZOOM.

The EMKOO is powered by a 1.5TGDI engine paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, producing a 0–100 km/h time of 8.8 seconds and a top speed of 190 km/h. Fuel efficiency is rated at 6.6L/100 km (NEDC).
Inside, the SUV features a futuristic driver-focused cockpit with a Head-Up Display (HUD), a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.1-inch infotainment touchscreen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The boot capacity of 638 litres expands to 1,586 litres with the rear seats folded.
For safety, the EMKOO is equipped with a full suite of Level 2 ADAS, Full Automatic Parking Assist (FAPA), and GAC’s Adaptive Vehicle Dynamic Control (AVDC).
Early buyers will receive an accessory package including a DVR system, kicking plate, luggage tray, sport pedals, and tinting upgrades. The offer is limited to the first 500 customers and comes with a RM4,000 rebate plus accessories worth RM10,000.
The EMKOO is offered in five exterior colours: Super Star Silver, Graphite Grey, Frost White, Asphalt Black, and the new Star Lake Green, all paired with a black leatherette interior with red accents.
Customers are covered by a 5-year/150,000 km vehicle warranty and a 7-year/180,000 km engine and powertrain warranty. GAC also announced that its aftersales network has expanded to 45 service centres nationwide from October 2025.
The all-new GAC EMKOO is now open for booking and test drives nationwide, with deliveries starting immediately.
