With the official launch of the JAECOO J5 just weeks away, OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia has entered the final stage of its rollout. The brand has indicated an estimated starting price of RM110,000 and introduced a Super Early Bird package worth RM8,888 for customers who place bookings ahead of next month’s launch.
The update was shared during a Media Appreciation event, where OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia also outlined its direction for 2026. The event marked the appointment of Chris Tan as Head of OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia, as the brand prepares for one of its key product introductions of the year.
To support its growing base of more than 25,000 customers, OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia will continue expanding its nationwide network. Following the establishment of 50 authorised dealerships in 2025, the brand plans to grow to 65 outlets in 2026, improving access to sales and aftersales services across Malaysia.
Super Early Bird rewards

In conjunction with the upcoming launch and the festive period, limited-time incentives are being offered to early buyers:

JAECOO J5 Accessories Trio
The complimentary Accessories Trio, valued at RM2,000, is designed to suit the J5’s “Urban Explorer” positioning. It includes a car subwoofer for enhanced audio, a wireless karaoke microphone for in-car entertainment, and a multi-functional flashlight for outdoor use and emergency situations.
The upcoming launches of the JAECOO J5 (estimated at RM110,000) and the OMODA C9 PHEV (estimated at RM220,000) form the first phase of the brand’s 2026 plans.
Additional new models are scheduled for the second half of the year, with further introductions expected in Q3 and Q4 to strengthen its premium SUV and electrified lineup.

According to Chris Tan, interest in the JAECOO J5 has been strong ahead of its launch, with the early bird programme aimed at offering clear value to early supporters. He added that the expansion to 65 dealerships is part of a broader effort to strengthen the brand’s ecosystem, with more models to follow throughout 2026.
Test drives for the JAECOO J5 are now available at selected authorised dealerships, while the nationwide Chinese New Year sales campaign for current models runs until 28 February 2026.
