Bentley Kuala Lumpur has introduced the fourth-generation Continental GT Speed, setting a new benchmark in the world of grand tourers by seamlessly combining supercar performance, cutting-edge hybrid technology, and everyday usability. Marking 21 years of the iconic Continental GT lineage, this latest model redefines luxury and performance for a modern era.
At the heart of the new Continental GT Speed is Bentley’s first Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain, featuring a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 paired with a 190 PS electric motor. Together, they deliver a staggering 782 PS and 1,000 Nm of torque, launching the GT Speed from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 335 km/h. Despite this immense power, the car achieves impressive efficiency with CO₂ emissions as low as 29 g/km and a fully electric range of up to 81 km on the WLTP cycle.
Underpinning the dynamic performance is an all-new Performance Active Chassis, which includes electronic limited-slip differential, active all-wheel drive, all-wheel steering, torque vectoring, Bentley Dynamic Ride, and a new dual-valve damper system with two-chamber air springs.
This ensures not only razor-sharp handling but also the most refined ride in Continental GT history, aided by a rear-biased 49:51 weight distribution enabled by intelligent hybrid battery placement.
Visually, the new Continental GT Speed reflects Bentley’s latest design evolution, inspired by the Bacalar and Batur. It features a bolder front end with single headlamps—a design nod to Bentley’s heritage—and a completely revamped interior. Inside, passengers are treated to exquisite craftsmanship, including new 3D leather textures, dark chrome finishes, advanced air ionisation, and enhanced seat wellness features.
The new 400-volt electrical architecture powers a trio of key components: the high-output V8, the seamless 190 PS electric motor integrated into the transmission, and a 25.9 kWh battery mounted for optimal balance. These systems work in harmony, offering various driving modes—from silent all-electric cruising to aggressive power delivery in Dynamic Mode. The battery can be recharged in just under three hours using an 11 kW charger.
Bentley engineers have carefully tuned the vehicle to deliver performance with character. The V8’s exhaust note has been enhanced naturally, without electronic augmentation, while the hybrid system eliminates turbo lag for instantaneous throttle response.
With unmatched power, intelligent chassis control, and refined electric driving capabilities, the new Continental GT Speed stands as Bentley’s most advanced grand tourer yet—paving the way for the brand’s electrified future without compromising on luxury, performance, or heritage.
That said, the new Continental GT Speed, priced at RM 3,120,000, is now available at the Bentley Kuala Lumpur Showroom.
