Mercedes-Benz Malaysia today officially unveiled the all-new CLA 250+, which is an EV by the way, announcing that it is now available for pre-booking nationwide.
The company is offering customers a first look at the all-new electric Mercedes-Benz CLA at Stars@Mercedes-Benz Bangsar from 15 to 18 January 2026. The preview highlights the brand’s latest leap in electric mobility, digital innovation, and design.
The new electric CLA, dubbed as the most advanced Mercedes-Benz yet, runs on the in-house Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) and features the AI-powered MBUX Virtual Assistant, capable of understanding complex conversations and providing navigation insights via Google Gemini.
The car delivers a WLTP range of up to 792 km, with energy consumption as low as 12.2 kWh per 100 km. Its 800-volt battery system allows rapid charging, adding up to 325 km of range in ten minutes.
In terms of design, the folks at Mercedes-Benz claim that the electric CLA combines athletic design with functionality. Its long wheelbase, short overhangs, and sculpted rear convey a sporty stance, while the innovative A-shape grille now features 142 illuminated LED stars.
While a panoramic glass roof enhances the cabin’s openness, and the car offers practical storage with a 101-litre front trunk (frunk) and a 405-litre rear boot.
The MB.OS also connects the vehicle to the Mercedes-Benz Intelligent Cloud, allowing over-the-air updates that keep the car’s features, including driving assistance systems, current. The MBUX Virtual Assistant, supported by generative AI, can recognize emotions and respond naturally, providing an interactive, personalised experience.
That being said, the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA 250+ with EQ Technology is now available for pre-booking on Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s website, with prices starting from RM 295,888 (Peninsular Malaysia, on-the-road without insurance).
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia also announced at the event that it continues to recognise long-term customer loyalty through initiatives like the upcoming 100,000 km Club, which will offer exclusive privileges and experiences for dedicated owners.
