Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has introduced the second-generation Mercedes-AMG GT 63 4MATIC+ Coupé, a bold new flagship that blends motorsport performance with daily usability. Designed to stand at the top of the AMG range, the all-new coupé pushes the boundaries of modern sports car design, performance, and technology.
At the core of the GT 63 4MATIC+ is AMG’s handcrafted 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine, assembled under the brand’s hallmark “One Man, One Engine” philosophy.

Delivering an output of 585 hp and 800 Nm of torque, it propels the coupé from 0–100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 315 km/h. Power is delivered via the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission, offering swift, precise gear changes and manual shifting through aluminium paddles.
With its longer wheelbase, short overhangs, wide track, and steeply raked windscreen, the GT 63 exhibits a commanding stance. Design elements such as the AMG-specific grille, DIGITAL LIGHT headlights, and an active rear spoiler contribute to its athletic proportions and aerodynamic efficiency. The muscular rear, integrated diffuser, and LED taillights add to its visual drama.

The coupé is engineered with active aerodynamics to ensure optimal performance at speed. The two-part AIRPANEL system automatically regulates airflow via slats behind the front air intakes, enhancing cooling and reducing drag.
A carbon element integrated into the underbody lowers at speeds above 80 km/h, creating a Venturi effect that increases downforce and front-end stability.

The GT 63 features fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, delivering power where it’s needed most depending on the road conditions and driving style. This ensures maximum traction and control, whether on dry tarmac or wet roads.
The AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension system elevates driving dynamics by electronically adjusting roll stabilisation. It continuously analyses driving data and road surfaces up to 1,000 times per second, allowing the suspension to instantly adapt, improving both comfort and handling.

Active rear-axle steering gives the coupé impressive agility and manoeuvrability at low speeds, while enhancing stability at higher speeds. Meanwhile, an electronically controlled rear differential ensures optimal traction and balance, particularly when cornering at the limit or changing lanes at high speed.
The AMG high-performance composite braking system offers strong, consistent stopping power. Lightweight components reduce unsprung mass, improving steering and ride quality. The brake discs use a new pin connection design for better heat dissipation and faster water dispersion, enhancing performance even in wet conditions.

Drivers can personalise the car’s behaviour with six AMG DYNAMIC SELECT modes: Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, Individual, and Race. Each setting tailors the vehicle’s throttle response, suspension firmness, steering input, and more—allowing for a versatile driving experience across different scenarios.
Racetrack enthusiasts will appreciate AMG TRACK PACE, which comes standard. It functions as a virtual race engineer, logging over 80 data points in real-time such as speed, acceleration, steering angle, and brake input. Up to 40 telemetry parameters can be displayed live during a session, perfect for performance analysis.
The coupé is equipped with a suite of advanced driver assistance systems that use cameras, radar, and sensors to support the driver in real-time. From adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping to emergency braking, the systems are visualised in a 3D animated interface within the instrument cluster.
