Bermaz Motor has officially launched the all-new Mazda BT-50 in Malaysia, introducing a redesigned pickup positioned for both work and everyday use.
Fully imported (CBU) from Thailand, the latest BT-50 offers updated styling, improved comfort, upgraded connectivity features, and a strong safety package. Prices start from RM138,000.
Exterior and Design
The new BT-50 adopts Mazda’s latest design language with a broader grille, slimmer LED headlamps, reshaped bumper, and revised tailgate design. The exterior is smoother and more refined compared to its predecessor, but maintains the stance expected of a pickup.
New alloy wheels and more pronounced wheel arches give it a more confident, capable look on and off the road.
Interior and Comfort
Inside, the BT-50 places emphasis on usability and comfort. The dashboard layout is clean and functional, with improved material quality and better seat support. Noise insulation has been enhanced to reduce cabin vibration and engine noise during daily driving and highway travel.

Powertrain and Capability
The BT-50 is powered by a 3.0-litre turbo diesel engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and 4WD. The setup is tuned for steady torque delivery and controlled handling. Suspension consists of a double-wishbone front and leaf-spring rear to support both load carrying and ride comfort.
The model also introduces Rough Terrain Mode, which manages throttle and braking to maintain traction on uneven and slippery surfaces. Hill descent control and a locking rear differential further assist in off-road driving.
