Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia has opened bookings for the all-new Omoda C7 and Omoda C7 PHEV, with estimated prices starting from RM160,000.
The conventional petrol-powered Omoda C7 is estimated at RM160,000, while the Omoda C7 PHEV is expected to cost around RM180,000. Both figures are indicative and will only be confirmed when the models are officially launched in Malaysia.
While the C7 is powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), the C7 PHEV uses Omoda Jaecoo’s latest-generation Super Hybrid System (SHS). It combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT).
Ahead of the official launch, Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia showcased both models at an exclusive preview at Suria KLCC, giving prospective buyers an opportunity to see the vehicles and explore their design, technology and powertrain options.
Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia Head Chris Tan said the C7 represents the next step in the brand’s product strategy, combining design, technology and practicality in the premium crossover segment.
The C7 adopts Omoda’s “Art in Motion” design language, featuring sculpted bodywork, aerodynamic proportions and a distinctive shark-nose front end. Other exterior highlights include a full-LED lighting signature and an illuminated hexagonal lighting motif.
Inside, the C7 is equipped with a 15.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen and an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster. The cabin also gets ventilated, electrically adjustable front seats, double-glazed front windows and 50W ventilated wireless charging.
Practicality is another key selling point, with the C7 offering a claimed 614-litre luggage compartment, which expands to 1,371 litres with the rear seats folded.
The SUV also comes with a comprehensive Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) package and intelligent connectivity features.
With bookings now open, the Omoda C7 and C7 PHEV are set to expand the brand’s presence in Malaysia’s increasingly competitive premium C-segment SUV market.
