BMW Group Malaysia has expanded its premium Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) lineup with the introduction of the BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport, a more potent and better-equipped addition to the fourth-generation X3 range.
Positioned above the X3 20 xDrive M Sport launched in 2025, the new variant strengthens the model’s appeal with enhanced performance, upgraded equipment, and a sharper overall driving experience.

Visually, the X3 30 xDrive M Sport adopts a more assertive stance, highlighted by a large Pearl Chrome kidney grille with BMW Iconic Glow lighting. Adaptive LED headlights—now standard on this variant—feature cornering lights, glare-free high beam with Selective Beam, and distinctive blue accents.
The profile remains classically BMW SAV, with a long bonnet, short overhangs, and muscular wheel arches. Exclusive to this variant are 20-inch M light alloy wheels (Double-spoke Style 1036 M Bicolour), paired with M Sport brakes finished in dark blue metallic. At the rear, split LED tail lights with a double L-shaped signature complete the modern look.

Inside, the cabin centres around the BMW Curved Display, combining a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch touchscreen. The BMW Interaction Bar integrates ambient lighting and functional controls, while high-quality materials and clean design reinforce the premium feel.
M Sport enhancements include an anthracite headliner, M leather steering wheel, and sporty interior accents. Comfort features are extensive, with electrically adjustable sport seats (with ventilation and lumbar support), a panoramic glass roof, Harman Kardon 15-speaker sound system, and BMW Individual Magnolia fine-wood trim.

Under the bonnet, the X3 30 xDrive M Sport is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with 48V mild hybrid assistance, producing 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque. Paired with an eight-speed Steptronic transmission and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system, it sprints from 0–100 km/h in 6.3 seconds, with a top speed of 240 km/h.
Chassis upgrades—including revised stabilisers, stiffer rear axle bearings, and a wider rear track—enhance both ride comfort and handling precision.

Safety and convenience are supported by the Driving Assistant Plus suite, which includes adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, lane keeping assist, collision warning, and more. Parking Assistant Plus adds features such as Surround View, Remote 3D View, and a Reversing Assistant.
The latest BMW Operating System 9 powers the infotainment, offering improved touchscreen and voice control, full-screen Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a highly customisable interface via QuickSelect widgets.
