Leapmotor has rolled out a new over-the-air (OTA) software update for the Leapmotor B10, adding a range of new features aimed at improving driving comfort, connectivity and overall usability.

Two variants are offered:

  • B10 LIFE – RM107,800 (Dark Grey fabric)
  • B10 DESIGN – RM118,800 (Dark Grey or Shadow Grey ECO Leather)

The update arrives just six months after the B10 SUV was introduced, highlighting the brand’s focus on continuous software development and the ability to enhance vehicle capabilities remotely without requiring a visit to a service centre.

One of the headline additions is One-Pedal driving, which allows drivers to control most acceleration and deceleration using only the accelerator pedal. The system works together with enhanced energy regeneration logic to deliver smoother speed control while improving efficiency.

Connectivity is also significantly improved with the introduction of native Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, available through both wired and wireless connections. This enables drivers to seamlessly access smartphone apps, navigation and media directly through the vehicle’s infotainment system.

Leapmotor has also updated the vehicle interface to make it more intuitive to use. Drivers can now customise steering wheel buttons with multifunction shortcuts, allowing quick access to features such as drive modes and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) controls.

The infotainment system itself receives several enhancements. A new left-side split-screen navigation layout allows drivers to view navigation information alongside other applications, while a Quick Start preloading feature reduces startup time when the system is powered on.

Additional refinements include improvements to the in-vehicle life presence detection reminder, as well as smoother operation of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Centring Control (LCC) when the vehicle approaches corners.

Deployment of the update began in early February 2026 and is being rolled out gradually to B10 owners. Once available, drivers receive a notification through the vehicle’s interface and can download and install the software directly in the car.

Through regular OTA updates, Leapmotor says it aims to continuously refine the driving experience and ensure its vehicles evolve with new functionality throughout their lifecycle.
