UD Trucks customers in Malaysia can now look forward to stronger aftersales support and upgraded service standards with the opening of a new 3S centre operated by Tan Chong Industrial Equipment Sdn Bhd (TCIE).
The facility, located in the busy industrial zone of Port Klang, marks a major step forward in enhancing service accessibility for fleet operators.

Situated along Lebuh Sultan Mohamed 1 in Selat Kelang Utara, the Port Klang 3S Centre is managed by TC Trucks Sales Sdn Bhd (TCTS). The centre brings together sales, servicing, and spare parts under one roof, giving customers of all partner brands a seamless and convenient experience.
To celebrate the opening, TCIE recently hosted a luncheon for around 150 guests, most of whom were valued customers. The event marked the completion of a year-long construction period that produced a purpose-built facility designed to showcase UD Trucks’ latest commercial vehicle range and provide comprehensive aftermarket solutions. The centre is equipped with modern workshop tools and a full stock of genuine parts to support efficient vehicle maintenance.

According to Keiichiro Ochiai, UD Trucks’ Region Director for Southeast Asia & East Asia, the brand’s commitment to strong aftermarket support is more important than ever in today’s competitive market.
“After-sales quality is a key differentiator, especially in challenging economic conditions. Both UD Trucks and TCIE remain dedicated to supporting customers with reliable products and service strategies tailored to their needs.
“The new Port Klang 3S Centre is a strategic investment that will improve turnaround times and operational support, particularly for businesses based within the surrounding industrial areas. We believe this will further strengthen confidence in the UD Trucks brand by ensuring customers can depend on us for performance, uptime, and cost efficiency throughout their ownership journey.”

Built on a two-acre plot with a total built-up area of 21,000 sq ft, the centre features a spacious showroom capable of displaying up to three UD Trucks models. Customers and drivers are also welcomed with a comfortable lounge designed for relaxation and convenience.
Behind the showroom, the workshop houses 11 service bays, supported by a sizeable spare parts warehouse to maintain consistent parts availability. The facility is staffed by a skilled technical team equipped with the latest diagnostic tools, enabling efficient troubleshooting and repairs that help fleet owners minimise downtime and unnecessary costs.
As part of UD Trucks and TCIE’s ongoing effort to support smarter, more dependable logistics solutions, the Port Klang 3S Centre has been designed with future expansion in mind. The former Pandamaran 3S Centre has now been relocated to this new site to enhance convenience, accessibility, and overall service capacity.

TCIE Chief Operating Officer Loh Thim Choy said the opening of the new centre underscores the company’s continued focus on customer satisfaction.
“This new Port Klang 3S Centre represents a significant leap in how we serve our customers. Supplying quality trucks is only one part of the equation — the dealership experience is just as crucial. That’s why we’re committed to raising the standard of customer care through this upgraded facility.
“We are excited to deliver the premium experience this centre was designed for, from the modern showroom and welcoming atmosphere to the advanced workshop capabilities and highly trained technical team. Our mission is simple: customers need more than just vehicles — they need a dependable partner, and TCIE is fully committed to supporting their operations and maximising uptime.”
