Naza Eastern Motors Sdn Bhd, the authorised distributor of Suzuki vehicles in Malaysia, has introduced the all-new Suzuki Fronx Hybrid, marking the brand’s latest entry into the compact SUV market.
According to Naza Automotive Group CEO Mohd Rizal Jailan, the Fronx is positioned to strengthen Suzuki’s presence in Malaysia as demand for compact, efficient and feature-rich SUVs continues to grow.
Built on Suzuki’s latest lightweight architecture, the Fronx adopts SUV proportions with coupe-inspired styling. Key exterior features include a chrome-framed grille, LED multi-reflector headlamps with DRLs, LED rear lighting, roof rails, wheelarch cladding and skid plates.
The Fronx measures 3,995 mm long, 1,765 mm wide and 1,550 mm tall, with a 2,520 mm wheelbase. It rides on 16-inch alloy wheels and is offered in a range of single- and dual-tone colour options.
The cabin follows a simple, driver-oriented layout anchored by a 9-inch HD touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A Head-Up Display and 360-degree camera system add to its driver-assistance features.
Other equipment includes a leather-wrapped steering wheel with tilt and telescopic adjustment, cruise control and wireless charging. Suzuki also highlights improved noise insulation for better NVH performance. The contoured seat design, dual-tone interior theme and multiple storage areas contribute to overall practicality.
Meanwhile, cargo capacity stands at 308 litres, with 60:40 split-folding rear seats for additional flexibility.
Power comes from a 1.5-litre K15C four-cylinder hybrid engine delivering 103 PS at 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm at 4,400 rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The mild-hybrid system uses a 12V lithium-ion battery, contributing to a WLTP-rated driving range of over 700 km from a 37-litre fuel tank.
While the Fronx rides on MacPherson strut front suspension and a torsion beam rear setup, with ventilated front disc brakes, the ground clearance is rated at 170 mm.
The Fronx has achieved a five-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating. Suzuki Safety Support equips the SUV with:

- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert

- High Beam Assist
Its TECT body structure is engineered to enhance crash protection and energy absorption as well.
That being said, the Suzuki Fronx Hybrid is priced at RM147,888 (on-the-road, without insurance). It comes with:
- 3-year/100,000 km vehicle warranty
- 5-year/100,000 km battery warranty
Early customers are eligible for either a RM4,000 rebate or a free Suzuki Genuine Accessories Package, which includes a multi-roof rack, roof basket and door visor. This offer runs until 31 December 2025.
The Fronx will be showcased at the Suzuki Lifestyle Roadshow from 19–23 November 2025 at the Piazza, Pavilion Bukit Jalil. The event will feature test drives, promotional activities and brand collaborations with Ducati, GoPro, Polaroid Eyewear, Eyez Optometry and Monster Energy.
