Aveta Malaysia has introduced the latest iteration of its popular Ranger Max Explorer, reinforcing its standing as Malaysia’s pioneer in the adventure cub segment.
Since its launch in 2023, the Ranger Max Explorer has built a strong following among local riders with its rugged retro-modern styling and versatile performance on both city roads and dirt trails.
Responding to customer feedback, Aveta has now refreshed the model with a host of upgrades, a new colour option for the Standard variant, and the introduction of a Special Edition (SE) designed for urban riders.

The updated Ranger Max Explorer now boasts improved safety and handling, thanks to the inclusion of front and rear disc brakes, redesigned mudguards and fender liners, as well as sturdier handlebar controls and grips with added bar-end balancers.
A reinforced patented T-bone chassis ensures durability while retaining the model’s lightweight construction. Ground clearance has also been raised to 190mm, giving it an edge in off-road conditions.
Additional refinements extend to the suspension, wiring, speedometer, throttle cable, swingarm, pillion footrest, and main stand. The vacuum pump has been replaced with a more efficient fuel supply system, simplifying maintenance while keeping the bike’s weight impressively low at 115kg.

For riders who enjoy adventure both on and off the road, the Standard variant is now offered in a striking Iron Grey finish. It continues to feature 18-inch front and 16-inch rear spoked wheels fitted with dual-purpose tyres, priced competitively at RM6,988 (excluding insurance and road tax).
Meanwhile, the new Ranger Max Explorer Special Edition caters to those who prefer a more street-oriented ride. Finished in an exclusive Storm Blue colour, the SE swaps spoked wheels for 17-inch two-tone sport rims with tubeless tyres, enhancing manoeuvrability on city streets.
A redesigned exhaust cover adds a contemporary touch. The SE is priced at RM7,188 (excluding insurance and road tax). To mark the launch, the first 25 buyers will receive a complimentary custom-designed 36-litre top box worth over RM599, enhancing practicality for daily commutes or weekend adventures.

Steven Lim, Group Managing Director of Aveta Malaysia, said the upgraded model reflects the company’s commitment to continuous improvement.
“The first Ranger Max Explorer opened a new chapter in Malaysia’s lifestyle adventure bike market. Over the past year, we listened closely to our customers’ feedback and refined the model to address their needs. The result is a more capable, reliable, and enjoyable motorcycle that stays true to its adventurous spirit,” he said.
The upgraded Ranger Max Explorer is now available at Aveta dealerships nationwide, with test rides open for interested customers.
