Known for its agility and unmistakable performance, the SV650 continues to embody the essence of the samurai — sleek, powerful, and bold.

Suzuki positions this final edition as a tribute to more than two decades of engineering excellence, with the SV650 continuing to reflect the brand’s enduring commitment to innovation and heritage.

The launch took place during the annual AMI-Suzuki Syoknya Raya! 2025 celebration at the MATRADE Exhibition Hall, turning the event into a double celebration. Alongside the unveiling, Suzuki riders from across Malaysia gathered to celebrate Hari Raya in true Suzuki Familia fashion, reaffirming the brand’s strong community roots.

Adding to the excitement, Suzuki Malaysia introduced its newly formed AMI Suzuki Motorsport (ASM) racing team, with the SV650 platform forming the backbone of this fresh motorsport initiative. This strategic move signals Suzuki’s official return to competitive racing, with the ASM team set to participate in both the Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK1000) and MotoMSF Superbike Series.

The event also featured the public debut of the race-spec GSX-R1000R, a high-performance machine tuned by Yoshimura Japan, underscoring Suzuki’s serious commitment to motorsport excellence.

To ensure peak race readiness, technical operations and race preparations will be handled by ZK Racing, led by former Moto3 rider Zulfahmi Khairudin and his experienced crew. Suzuki’s racing campaign will consist of two factory-backed teams: the AMI Suzuki Motorsport (ASM) team led by national superbike star Adam Norrodin, and the Mobilub Suzuki Racing Team (MSRT), which will field five riders, including three international competitors.
