Hyundai Motor Malaysia today announced that bookings are now open for the locally assembled Hyundai STARIA, produced in Kulim, Kedah.
The premium MPV now arrives in new exterior colour options — Jet Black, Snow Flake White Pearl, Meteor Grey and Stormy Sea available for all variants, adding a touch of individuality to suit every taste.
Previewed in July, the MPV now features brass chrome exterior accents and remains available in three trims — Style and Prime (both 10-seaters) and the Prestige, which comes in 7- and 10-seater configurations.

The STARIA’s design continues to stand out with its clean, futuristic profile and large panoramic windows that improve visibility. The Prestige variants receive additional exterior elements such as full LED projection headlamps and brass chrome detailing, while LED rear combination lamps and a concealed rear wiper complete the look.
Inside, the cabin prioritises versatility and comfort, offering flexible seating for up to 10 passengers. The 7-seater Prestige variant adds premium relaxation seats, dual sunroofs, and a BOSE 12-speaker audio system.
An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and up to 1,024 litres of luggage capacity enhance practicality.
All variants are powered by a 2.2-litre CRDi turbodiesel engine producing 177 PS and 430 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. The 75-litre fuel tank supports long-distance travel without frequent refuelling.
Safety remains a priority with the Hyundai SmartSense suite, which includes Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping and Following Assist, Blind-Spot Collision Warning, Smart Cruise Control, and Safe Exit Assist. The Prestige trim adds Driver Attention Warning and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert for additional peace of mind.
Last but not least, the Staria comes with an 8-year or 160,000km warranty coverage.
