Innate Synergy Sdn Bhd Expands its Truck Fleet with Volvo Trucks

Volvo Trucks is doing its part to maintain Malaysia’s solid reputation as a preferred solutions hub in the petrochemical industry by partnering with leading player Innate Synergy Sdn Bhd (ISSB) to further shore up the latter’s transportation infrastructure.

The two companies recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that sees ISSB take delivery of 10 units of Volvo FM440 trucks to complement their fleet. The MoU also aims to consolidate their partnership and cement stronger ties.

The partnership sees Volvo Malaysia providing driver training, aftermarket services and other essential components that are in line with the company’s commitment and strong reputation in providing total transportation solutions to its customers.

ISSB is a key player in the petroleum trading industry that caters to commercial and industrial use. Founded in 1999, the company is strategically located in Penang with access to major ports and cities all around the world, via sea and air. ISSB currently owns a fleet of 30 Bitumen tankers and five units of ADO tankers for operational purposes.

Mats Nilsson, Managing Director of Volvo Malaysia and Abdul Malik Samat, ISSB Managing Director signed the MoU for their respective companies. Volvo Malaysia also presented ISSB a truck model to mark the partnership.

He added that Volvo Trucks will aim at building a smooth and successful relationship with ISSB by providing Innate Synergy with Volvo’s renowned reliability in quality, safety and strong aftermarket support.

Volvo Malaysia Sdn Bhd currently has 13 network points delivering a combination of sales and aftermarket services across Malaysia, with seven in Peninsular Malaysia and six in East Malaysia.
